How to Remove Toe Cages for Peloton Bike?
Have you ever install toe cages on your Peloton bike? If so, you know it all! It’s just the opposite. In case you don’t know, here is the guide on how you can do this:
We only need an Allen wrench (Metric 5mm) to remove toe cages. It’s a type of wrench that you use for screwing and unscrewing different bolts. Or, you can go with the Allen key set (also known as a hex key, Torx key, or Allen wrench).
So, here we go! Just follow these five simple steps and you’ll be able to remove toe cages for the Peloton bike in no time!
Step 1: Don’t ride on the bike
At first, you need to take yourself off the bike. This is very important. If you don’t do this, the chain of the bike will be ruined, as well as the inner wheels.
Step 2: Remove Straps
There are two straps that you need to remove. They are located on either side of the bike. To remove them, you will need to loosen the strap and pull them up.
Step 3: Locate Cage Bolts
You will need to locate cage bolts that are underneath the straps. So, you need to push your fingers deep inside the straps. Once, it is done, go to the next step.
Step 4: Unbolt the Bolts
From my personal experience, the bolts on the chains tend to be easy to pull out. Use the Allen wrench to remove it.
Step 5: Remove the Cage
The cage itself is very easy to remove. Just push your fingers under it and lift it! The chains will go with it, so you don’t need to worry about them.
